*Minister Chernor Bah facilitates the donation of digital kits to schools*

The Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah has facilitated the donation of digital kits to two primary schools in Kanikay, Freetown.

The kits were donated by Orange Sierra Leone through its foundation, as part of the company’s commitment to education in the country.

The schools that benefitted from the donation are Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood Primary School and Bishop Crowther Memorial Primary School.

Minister Bah is an indigene from Kanikay, born two minutes away from the community center; he has always been proud of his roots and association with the community.

Chief Executive Officer of Orange Sierra Leone, Sekou Amadou Bah said the donation is to help the children in these schools to get access to digital skills.

‘The aim is to equip more underprivileged schools with digital learning products. The desire is to equip children with digital learning tools’ he said.

The items donated to the two schools include Tablets, headsets, laptops, power banks, smart projectors, Bluetooth sp
eakers, and more.

The Orange CEO praised Minister Bah’s advocacy in ensuring schools from Kanikay also benefit from this donation.

Minister Bah praised Orange’s commitment to supporting the vision of President Julius Maada Bio and the country.

‘Thanks to Orange for this, they are one of the biggest and most important companies in this country. This support is a support to the President’s vision, support to the country and our community, Kanikay’

Minister Bah, who attended the Bishop Crowther Memorial Primary School, also took time to praise the significant role the school played in his life while inspiring the students to aspire to greatness.

‘These schools have played a major role in my life. I won’t be where I am without this important school, The Bishop Crowther Memorial Primary School.’

He praised the community and the leaders for their role in supporting these schools.
