The retreat aims to strengthen collaboration, commitment, coordination and partnership to boost effective communication through task-oriented, network oriented and community-based collaboration strategies to address public health risks.
Prof. Dr Foday Sahr, the Executive Director, mentioned in his speech that “this retreat serves as a crucial moment for reflection, learning, and planning as we review the progress we have made in the first half of the year and chart the course for the remainder of the year.
He further went on to say: “work in the One Health Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) space is critical because it directly impacts the health and safety of our communities.
Prof. Sahr emphasized on the importance of working together as a unit to ensure that accurate information is disseminated to the public in a timely manner. He encourages participants to continue collaborating and sharing best practices to effectively address health risks in the community.
